- Minimum 2 years experience with kitchen experience in a similar role in a busy kitchen
- Setting up the kitchen prior to a restaurant’s opening
- Preparing kitchen stations by bringing all food containers to that point in the line
- Cooking/ Preparing a specific portion of each plated meal
- Assisting the head chef to ensure stock rotation & ordering is up to date
- Keeping HACCP records up to date
- Assisting with marinating, cutting and precooking foods
- Cleaning the kitchen before the restaurant closes
- Cleaning and sanitising their area with warm water and soap
- Wrapping unused items and storing them in proper areas at the end of a shift
- Plating food creatively and maximising customer enjoyment
- Assisting the head chef with specials & menu ideas
- Competent in following recipes
- Not afraid to learn but someone who can bring ideas to the table too
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: €14.25-€16.00 per hour
