Padel LK are looking to hire a Padel Coach & Front of House team member to work a range of day and evening shifts. The candidate must be enthusiastic, punctual, outgoing and thorough with an attention to detail and have a passion for sport.
This position does involve weekends, with a combination of morning, daytime and evening shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver private lessons (1-4 players) and level-based group lessons
- Support tournaments, leagues, and social events
- Contribute to client experience and club atmosphere
- Opening and closing of the facility
- Provide a warm welcome to all patrons, assisting with check in and queries
- Answering emails and phone calls in a timely and professional manner
- Preparation and service of specialty hot beverages
- Preparation & service of food & drinks
- Comply with food hygiene and health & safety standards
- Managing individual and group bookings through website, mobile applications and walk-ins
- Maintain a spotless and pleasant environment at all times by helping with cleaning of the facility during shifts, including courts and changing facilities
- Assist with marketing activities when required
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety requirements
Skills & Qualifications
- Certified coach from a national padel federation (required)
- Additional Padel certifications (preferred)
- Demonstrable high playing level
- Front of house experience in a gym or leisure facility is preferred
- Experience working within food service or hospitality sector
- Barista training is preferred
- Outgoing, friendly, and enjoy interacting with people.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Maintain a professional appearance and behaviour
- Experience in payment handling
- Strong administration and computer skills
- Be meticulous and take pride in the facilities look and cleanliness.
- A personal interest or background in sports, fitness, or community engagement is a strong plus
- The ability to work in a quick and efficient manner at pace
- To comply with all policies and procedures
- To comply with food hygiene and health and safety standards
Additional Requirements
- Candidates will need to successfully pass Garda Vetting as part of the hiring process
- Must be flexible with hours. Shifts will include Saturday's & Sunday's and also evenings until 11pm
- Manual Handling, Health & Safety, First Aid, Fire Warden
Pay: From €14.15 per hour
