SENIOR IT PROJECT MANAGER - PAYMENTS & BANKING

At EY, we
are expanding our Advisory practice and specifically building our Performance
Improvement (PI) team. Due to this expansion we are seeking to recruit a leader
at Senior Manager level to be part of a growing and dynamic team.

As a Senior
Manager in IT Advisory, you’ll be responsible for building valuable
relationships with our clients and to develop a track-record of delivery that
is recognised throughout the market.

Client
Delivery: You’ll be responsible for delivering key strategic engagements for
our clients, ensuring service quality, leveraging your knowledge and sector
experience to transform client IT and business deployments to deliver business
value.

Business
Development: You’ll be responsible for leading proposals and client
presentations and provide subject matter insight to bids and proposals. You’ll
be expected to develop a strong industry profile.

Thought
Leadership: Drawing on your skills and experience, you’ll create innovative
insights for clients in the areas of Payments Transformation, PSD2 and Open
Banking, wider payments trends and Digital transformation Technical
Skills requirements

You’ll
have knowledge and experience of a number of the following areas:

A proven track record of
delivering business value from IT as a delivery manager / senior project
manager
Have a proven ability to be
able to take a ‘big picture’ delivery view as well as being able to work
at a detailed level across a broad range of contract types and engagement
approaches
Have experience in managing
process change within organisations as a result of an IT implementation
A track record of delivery
within a number of large scale IT transformation programmes, taking
ownership of delivery across internal client teams
Have experience in seeking
the alignment of business and IT, operating across organisational and
technology silos to drive common approaches, delivering sustainable, agile
and re-usable solutions
Previous consulting experience
will be an advantage
Being comfortable working
with client executives and senior management is a must
Accreditation and
practitioner experience in one or more Project Management approaches
including PRINCE II, PMI, Agile is an advantage
A strong background in Banking
is desirable

Ideally
to have experience in one or more of the following specialisms: Payments, Open
banking, Digital Transformation

Client responsibilities

Lead ITA engagements and
manage senior client relations
Manage financial aspects of
client engagements and communicate significant issues, fees, and estimates
to complete to vendors and clients
Work with EY Directors and
Partners to generate new business opportunities and build client networks
and relationships
Understand all our service
offerings and actively identify opportunities to better serve clients
Build strong internal
relationships within Advisory and across other services
