We are seeking a Production Manager (Fabric Lampshades) who will oversee daily manufacturing operations for lampshade production, ensuring quality standards, production schedules, safety requirements, and cost targets are met. This role manages production staff, materials, and processes to deliver high-quality lampshades efficiently and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily lampshade production activities
- Manage production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery deadlines
- Oversee all stages of lampshade manufacturing (frame assembly, fabric cutting, wrapping, finishing, and inspection)
- Ensure products meet quality standards, specifications, and design requirements
- Lead, train, and evaluate production staff; assign tasks and manage performance
- Monitor material usage, waste, and inventory levels
- Work closely with purchasing, engineering, and quality teams to resolve production issues
- Implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce defects, and control costs
- Enforce workplace safety policies and OSHA compliance
- Maintain accurate production reports and documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3–5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in lampshade, lighting, textile, or similar production
- Prior supervisory or production management experience
- Strong understanding of production planning, quality control, and lean manufacturing principles
- Ability to read work orders, drawings, and production specifications
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with basic computer systems (ERP, inventory, or production tracking)
Salary will depend on experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to €60,000.00 per year
