We are looking for an Electrical Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Limerick or Cork, with a hybrid working option available.
The successful candidate will support the commercial management of our projects, working closely with our project, site and commercial teams to ensure strong financial and contractual performance from project commencement through to final account.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and manage project budgets, valuations, cost reports and forecasts.

Manage subcontractor accounts, payments and final accounts.

Identify and manage variations, claims, contractual entitlements and commercial risks.

Attend commercial meetings and liaise with clients, project teams and subcontractors.

Support contract negotiations and ensure commercial obligations are appropriately managed.

Monitor project progress and programme implications from a commercial perspective.

Maintain accurate and auditable commercial records and documentation.

Provide support and guidance to junior members of the commercial team.

Contribute to the continued development of H&F's commercial processes and best practices.
Requirements

Degree in Quantity Surveying / Construction Economics or similar.

5+ years QS experience within electrical contracting

Strong commercial and contractual knowledge.

Experience with valuations, variations, claims and final accounts.

Excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Eligible to work in Ireland.

Full clean driving licence.
