Shannon Precision Engineering are a well established company based in Shannon Industrial Estate who are currently expanding, therefore we are looking for highly motivated and skilled CNC Programmers/Setters to program and develop optimum machining strategies for 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC Milling Machines (Doosan, Mori Seiki, Okuma, Huron)
Knowledge of CAD software, CAM software, geometry, manufacturing processes, quality and cycle times optimisation, quality standards and statistical process control. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years experience.
Qualifications and Skills
Successful candidates must have the following experiences and skills:
· Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications
· Experienced setting up and programming 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC machines
· Experience with Doosan, Mori Seiki, Okuma, and/or Huron Milling machines
· Good understanding of Geometric Dimensions and Tolerances (GD&T)
· Good understanding of inspection methods
· Confident communicator, Quality Orientated, Solution Provider
· Knowledge of Aerospace standards preferable
· Team Leader experience as an advantage
· Knowledge of the design aspects as an advantage
· Able to work as part of a team
Essential experience minimum 3 years
Minimum qualification (Level 7 including Diploma & Ordinary Bachelor Degree)
