The main duties and responsibilities of an experienced heating and ventilation fitter are;
- System Installation: Perform the professional, neat, and efficient installation of domestic ventilation systems (including MVHR, ducting, and vents) in new builds and retrofits.
- Servicing & Callouts: Respond promptly to system servicing requests, filter changes, and technical callouts to troubleshoot and resolve issues on-site.
- Operations Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with the field operations management team to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and to the highest industry standards.
- Warehouse & Stock Care: Assist in maintaining the organization of the central warehouse, ensuring stock levels are accurately tracked and vans are properly loaded during the course of your daily duties.
- Client Representation: Act as a professional face of the company on-site, answering basic client queries and leaving work areas clean and tidy.
- Administration & Documentation: Upload all relevant notes & images to our centralised Field Service app following on-site works.
- Follow necessary safety regulations.

- Collaboration: A strong team player who communicates clearly with both the office team and fellow on-site technicians.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in a practical installation, trades, or field service role.
- Full, clean Irish Driving License.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Ability to travel to the Ballycumber yard first thing every morning.
Beneficial Experience & Certificates
- Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates.
- Working at Heights certification.
- A strong mechanical/technical mindset (experience with tools, ducting, or basic electrical layout).
- Experience using mobile-based Field Service apps for logging jobs, notes, and parts.
Other Information
- Company Vehicle / Travel Details: This role will be required to start at our yard, with travel from the yard in company vans & with our FHR Installers.
- Tools & PPE: All specialized tools, safety equipment, and company uniform/PPE will be provided
- Overtime / Travel Time Policy: Overtime above the standard working week, and excluding commuting time, will be compensated in Time-In-Lieu.
