Ayrton Group are seeking Traffic Management Operatives to join our dynamic Traffic Management Team. We have multiple locations across Cork City and County on various projects. Ability to get to site is essential - own transport an advantage.
Duties
- Assist with the loading & unloading of vehicles with equipment, traffic signs and cones on-site.
- Carry out Stop/Go systems, road closures and diversions, set up & operation of traffic light systems and pedestrian management.
- Operate two-way radios with a team of Traffic Management Operatives.
- Communicate effectively with members of the public and contractors alike.
- Ensure the safety of yourself, the workforce, public and any other person affected by your duties.
- Adhere to Company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Safe Pass Card required.
- Manual Handling Certificate required.
- Full driving licence an advantage
- Excellent communication and time keeping skills.
- Reliable and flexible with the ability to use own initiative.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time).
- Commitment to health and safety.
