L.A Kitchens & Interiors is looking for a motivated and reliable General Operative / Delivery Driver to join our growing team.
This is a permanent, full-time position working with one of Ireland's leading bespoke kitchen and interior manufacturers. The successful candidate will work as part of our production and delivery team, helping ensure our products are manufactured, handled and delivered to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive company vans safely and professionally.
- Keep company vehicles clean, tidy and maintained to a high standard, reporting any maintenance issues.
- Load and unload kitchens, bedrooms and bespoke furniture safely and efficiently.
- Deliver products to customer sites throughout Ireland.
- Assist with unloading and positioning furniture on site.
- Read and work from CAD drawings where required.
- Assist within the workshop when required.
- Work safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
- Represent L.A Kitchens & Interiors professionally when dealing with customers and contractors.
Essential Requirements
- Full, clean driving licence.
- Experience driving large vans.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling throughout the working day.
- Good timekeeping, attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and take pride in your work.
Desirable Skills
- Previous experience in cabinet making, joinery or furniture manufacturing would be an advantage.
- Ability to read CAD drawings.
- Experience fitting or delivering kitchens or bespoke furniture.
