Prosolar is looking for a motivated candidate to join our team and begin their journey as a Solar PV Apprentice Electrician.
The successful candidate will gain valuable experience in all aspects of solar PV installation across domestic, commercial, and agricultural sectors. They will also work towards obtaining a QQI Level 6 Advanced Craft Certification.
The Role:
- Assist in the installation of solar PV systems in domestic, commercial, and agricultural settings.
- Shadow and learn from our experienced electricians, gaining both theoretical and practical knowledge of solar PV systems.
- Plan and carry out work on-site in line with project requirements, drawings, and planning guidelines.
- Complete assigned tasks within allocated timeframes while maintaining a high standard of work.
- Ensure work is carried out efficiently, safely, and in compliance with Prosolar’s high standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid Full Irish driver’s license.
- Flexibility to travel as required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous electrical experience is desirable but not required.
