Due to continued growth we are looking for a health and safety advisor to work on a large residential construction site in the Dublin region, the site has a considerable amount of work left to take place.
The specific duties will depend on your level of experience, but here is an overview of the key responsibilities:

Collaborate with Site Management and Company Directors to ensure that Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) objectives are consistently met or surpassed.

Conduct safety inspections and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) from subcontractors for various tasks.

Regularly update and review the company’s Risk Assessments, Safe Operating Procedures, and Safety Statement.

Promptly investigate and report on accidents, incidents, and near-misses, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.

Identify training needs, ensuring mandatory training is reviewed and completed on time.

Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all individuals on-site.

Provide relevant accident and incident data for insurance purposes.

Attend and actively contribute to regular Health & Safety meetings.

Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.

Ability to influence and guide people effectively.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in Health & Safety within a construction environment in IRELAND.

Fluent English.
