Little Scholars Montessori is looking for Early Years Lead Educator/Person In Charge to join the team this coming August/September 2026.
We have 2 services in Lusk and 1 service in Rush, Co.Dublin. We have successfully run for over a decade and have a vacancy in our new sessional service located within St. Andrew's Parish Centre, Malahide, Co.Dublin
We are offering a part time position of 20.75 hours per week - The hours will be 8.30 am-12.45 pm- pending confirmation of optional 30 minutes daily.
Roles & Responsibilities;
To act as the Person in charge of the service. There will always be a minimum of two adults on site.
– To assist in the education and care of an ECCE sessional class of 22 children.
– Ensure the safety, security and well being of all children in your care.
– To work with the team on the structure of the classroom daily routine and functionality.
– To assist with inspections as they arise.
– To be the designated person in managerial classroom roles, such as First aid officer, Mandated person etc and be the point of contact for the school.
The ideal candidate will have;
- Minimum Fetac Level 5- Supervision in Childcare/Early Childhood Care and Education.
- A good understanding of all relative guidelines and regulations under Aistear, Siolta and the Childcare Regulations.
- Experience in a similar role
-Montessori Teaching diploma, First Aid, Manual Handling and Child protection (all desirable but not essential).
