The Role
As a Server at La Maison, you aren’t just taking orders—you are the conductor of the guest’s experience. You will be expected to deliver seamless, knowledgeable service while maintaining the "joie de vivre" our regulars come back for.
Key Responsibilities:
- Menu Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of our French culinary techniques, seasonal ingredients, and daily specials.
- Wine & Pairing: Provide confident recommendations from our extensive wine list, including pairings for classic French dishes.
- Service Excellence: Execute standard French service etiquette (clearing from the right, pouring wine, table maintenance) with grace.
- Guest Engagement: Anticipate guest needs before they arise, managing the flow of the station with a calm and professional demeanor.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen team and sommeliers to ensure every plate is served to perfection.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years in a high-end or fine-dining environment. Experience with French cuisine is a significant advantage.
- Professionalism: A polished appearance and a proactive, "can-do" attitude.
- The "Dublin Touch": The ability to be formal when necessary, but always approachable and charismatic.
- Communication: Working English proficiency is required. French language skills are a lovely "plus" but not mandatory.
- Availability: Must be available for evening and weekend shifts.
