Site Engineer | Residential | Residential Developer
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of upcoming residential developments, we are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a well-established construction company delivering high-quality housing projects across Waterford.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer who wants to take ownership on site, work alongside an experienced construction team, and play a key role in delivering residential developments from the ground up.

The Opportunity
As Site Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate setting out and delivery of residential construction projects while working closely with site management, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Setting out works in accordance with drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Reviewing drawings and technical information to ensure accuracy and identify potential issues.
- Monitoring and reporting on project progress to site management.
- Carrying out site surveys, levelling, and measurements.
- Using AutoCAD and surveying equipment to verify dimensions and site layouts.
- Coordinating with subcontractors and site teams to ensure works are completed efficiently.
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and quality across the project.
- Assisting in the successful delivery of projects on time and within specification.
About You
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years' experience in a Site Engineer role within construction.
- Strong setting-out experience on residential or large-scale construction projects.
- Proficient in the use of Total Station, GPS, and surveying equipment.
- Experience using AutoCAD.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively while taking ownership of your responsibilities on site.
