We are currently seeking General Maintenance Person to join our team.
Full Time & Part Time position available.
We are based in Batestown, Drumcondrath, Navan, Co Meath C15Y2TA. 5 mins from Ardee.
Mon – sat
Part time 3 days per week
Full time 5 days per week
Normal working hours 8 – 6
Job Description:
- Previous background with a hands-on-approach
- Candidates should be familiar with equipment / machinery
- A Commitment to additional upskilling is essential
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of the plant and equipment to optimum performance
- Assist the Maintenance Manager with the implementation of preventative maintenance programmes for all machines
- Carry out Preventive, Emergency and Corrective Maintenance of all equipment and fixtures throughout the plant.
- Document all aspects of maintenance work carried out and keep management informed of potential issues
- Always adhere to company safety policies
- Work as part of the team
- Work efficiently using own initiative, escalating decisions to the Maintenance Supervisor when necessary.
- Previous maintenance experience preferred
- Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.
- Requires occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
- Preserving and improving the grounds throughout the year including some
- Gardening and ground Maintenance
- Strong communication skills with
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Previous experience in a similar role perferred
- Trustworthy and punctual
- Have own transport as public transport doesn’t pass our gate
- Self-motivated
