About the Role
We are looking for a commercially minded, data-driven Digital Marketing & eCommerce Specialist to join our growing team in Little Island.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving online growth, enhancing customer experience, and shaping the future of our digital presence. You will work across multiple channels and platforms, combining creativity with strong analytical skills to deliver measurable results.
You’ll collaborate closely with the marketing team while taking ownership of key digital and eCommerce activities, helping to bring the Ballymaloe brand to life in a dynamic and evolving digital landscape.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Marketing Manager to plan, execute and optimise integrated digital marketing campaigns across paid search, paid social, email, display and emerging channels
- Own and optimise the performance of our eCommerce platforms, driving online sales growth and improving user experience
- Analyse and interpret performance data (traffic, conversion, ROI), delivering clear insights and actionable recommendations
- Lead the development and execution of a data-driven SEO strategy to increase organic visibility
- Plan and implement conversion rate optimisation (CRO) initiatives, including A/B testing and customer journey enhancements
- Manage and optimise the marketing technology stack, including analytics, tracking and CRM tools
- Support the development of customer lifecycle and retention strategies, including email and CRM-led activity
- Collaborate with the wider marketing team to create engaging, brand-aligned digital content
- Support the delivery of integrated campaigns across digital and traditional channels
- Assist in the planning and execution of product launches, seasonal campaigns and brand activations
- Provide regular performance reporting and contribute to ongoing marketing and eCommerce strategy development
- Proactively identify new opportunities, tools and innovations to drive continuous improvement and growth
- Demonstrate a proactive interest in emerging marketing technologies, including AI tools, and be open to exploring and implementing them
- Contribute to wider marketing activities as required in a collaborative, team-focused environment
Skills & Experience
Must‑Have
- 2–5+ years’ experience in a digital marketing and/or eCommerce role
- Strong ability to analyse performance data and translate it into practical, commercial actions
- Hands-on experience across key channels including paid media (Google/Meta), email and SEO
- Experience using Google Analytics (GA4) or similar
- Good understanding of eCommerce trading and customer journeys, with a focus on conversion
- Proven ability to manage campaigns end-to-end
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Collaborative, hands-on team player with strong communication skills
Nice‑to‑Have
- A third-level qualification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, eCommerce, or a related discipline is desirable
- Experience with Shopify
- Familiarity with CRM/email platforms
- Experience in CRO and testing
- Exposure to budget management and performance metrics (ROAS, CPA, revenue contribution)
- Experience in FMCG or product-led brands
- Interest in good food, cooking, eating
- Interest in consumer trends and emerging digital tools
Contract Details
Hybrid Role - 3 days in office, 2 days remotely
