The Schull Harbour Hotel now has a vacancy for a Night Porter to join our team.
Working three / four nights per week from 10pm to 7am, this role would suit someone who is very self-motivated and able to work on their own initiative.
Duties will include -
- Overseeing the night time operations of the hotel
- Thorough cleaning of all hotel public areas
- Serving guests in the hotel residents' bar
- Maintaining building security throughout the night
- Setting up for functions / events as required
- Answering the reception phone and dealing with any requests that come through
The ideal candidate will have -
- Fluent English
- A passion for hospitality and customer care
- The ability to work by themselves as well as part of a team
- Be self motivated
- Excellent personal presentation
- Previous experience in a bar or Night Porter role
Fluent English is a necessity and we will only consider applicants who hold a valid permit to work in the EU.
