Aoife McNamara is a growing fashion and lifestyle brand built on craft, individuality, and a strong point of view. Our store is where that story comes to life for customers - and we're looking for a Sales Assistant who can bring the same warmth and care to every person who walks through the door.
THE ROLE
As a Sales Assistant, you'll be the face of the brand in-store, delivering a welcoming, knowledgeable, and personal shopping experience. You'll support customers from browse to purchase, help keep the store looking its best, and play a real part in how customers experience Aoife McNamara for the first time.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Greet and assist customers, offering styling advice and product knowledge with genuine warmth
- Process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately using the till and POS system
- Maintain the shop floor to a high standard — stock, displays, and general presentation
- Receive and process deliveries, and help keep stock levels and the stockroom organised
- Build relationships with regular customers and help grow repeat custom
- Stay up to date on new arrivals, collections, and product details to advise customers confidently
- Support with visual merchandising and window displays alongside the Store Manager
- Help meet store sales targets and contribute ideas for improving the in-store experience
- Assist with stocktakes and inventory checks as needed
- Represent the brand's tone and values in every customer interaction
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- A friendly, approachable manner and genuine enjoyment of working with people
- Retail, hospitality, or other customer-facing experience is a plus, but not essential attitude matters most
- An interest in fashion and an eye for style
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working as part of a small team
- Able to stand, move around the shop floor, and handle light stockroom work throughout a shift
- Flexibility to work weekends and some evenings, including busier retail periods
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: €14.15-€15.00 per year
