Do you have experience within Homecare or Healthcare scheduling and are looking for a growing business where you can make a real difference?
You will be joining a growing team in a new position that will set Comfort Homecare up for future growth and you will be central to how we manage our Healthcare Assistants time, supporting local branches as needed and most importantly ensuring that all our clients get the service they need.
Local branches manage their scheduling day to day, your team of currently 8 will mainly provide cover for evenings and weekends. You will be working primarily a strategic manager and bringing your experience of leading successful teams to improve our service.
Team Leadership & Management

Day to day leadership of team members.

Stakeholder management, reporting to C-Suite and responsible for the strategic direction of the on-call function.

Build upon our existing reporting tools to allow for clear visibility of all activity.

Regular 1:1's, identifying training gaps and developing your team members.

Work with our training manager and L&D team to ensure skills are uniform across your team.

Support team members during high pressure situations.

Review, standardise and improve processes where possible.

Establish the framework to ensure smooth running of the function when you are not present.
Operational Management
Ensure all scheduled calls are covered.

Work closely with Branch Managers to ensure that cover is in-place.

Manage rotas and address gaps.

Maintain On Call records, reporting and escalate risk as needed.

Support both Health Care Assistants and Clients families to ensure all calls are completed to the highest standards.

Review any new technology that may assist or improve the function.
What you will bring

Minimum 3 years' experience in managing or supervising teams.

Previous experience in home care or healthcare operations.

Rota management or workforce planning.

Committed to client dignity and supporting staff.

High level of proficiency in the One Touch CRM platform.
