Job Purpose.
DHS Complete Hire is seeking an experienced Senior Trade Counter Sales professional to support the growth of our Drogheda branch. This role combines customer service, trade sales, hire coordination and branch support responsibilities, ensuring customers receive a professional and efficient experience while helping the branch achieve its sales and profitability targets.

DHS Complete Hire, part of AER Rents Group, is a well-established company with 30 years of experience in the plant hire industry. The company’s headquarters is located in Drogheda, co. Louth and a depot located at Long Mile Road, co. Dublin.
Key Responsibilities…
- advising customers on the best plant/tools for the task at hand and demonstrating how to operate if required.
- Dealing with sales inquiries either by phone or over the counter and providing advice, information, and quotations.
- Recommending suitable plant/tools/machinery to suit customer requirements
- Liaising with yard and workshop staff to fulfil orders
- Providing exceptional customer service throughout the sales process so all customer expectations are met, if not exceeded.
- Achieve agreed sales targets.
- Stay updated about product knowledge
- Close sales transactions efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to the company guidelines on Health & Safety.
Key Requirements.
- Promote hire and retail products to maximise sales opportunities.
- Identify opportunities to upsell accessories, consumables and damage waiver products.
- Assist in achieving branch sales and margin targets.
- Develop strong relationships with existing and new customers.
- Physically capable of carrying out occasional manual handling duties associated with a busy trade counter environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €36,000.00-€42,000.00 per year
Experience:
- Sales: 3 years (preferred)
- Customer service: 3 years (preferred)
