About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Solar Administrator / Personal Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our growing solar business. This is a varied role combining office administration, customer coordination, and personal assistant duties to ensure smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Solar Administration
- Manage customer enquiries and schedule appointments
- Prepare quotations, paperwork, and installation documentation
- Liaise with suppliers, installers, and utility providers
- Maintain project records and update CRM systems
- Assist with grant applications, compliance paperwork, and customer follow-up
- Track project timelines and ensure deadlines are met
Personal Assistant Duties
- Manage diaries, appointments, and meetings
- Handle emails, phone calls, and correspondence
- Organise travel, bookings, and general administrative tasks
- Assist with document preparation and reporting
- Support senior management with day-to-day business and personal admin tasks
Requirements
- Previous administration or PA experience (solar/renewable energy experience an advantage)
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
- Strong communication and customer service ability
- Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
- Experience using CRM or scheduling systems preferred
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
