The role of Accounts Payable Specialist will report to the Accounts Payable Team Lead. This is a fixed term contract for 1 year.
The purpose, responsibilities, skills and experience and competencies required are as follows:
Role Purpose
The Accounts Payable Specialist will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of supplier invoices for companies serviced by HRI Finance Shared Service Centre.
Role Responsibilities:

Daily processing of creditor invoices.

Complete monthly creditors statement reconciliations.

Address and close supplier queries in a timely manner, as and when required.

Build and maintain good working relationships with suppliers, team members, and colleagues.

Produce monthly reports including late payment reports, aged creditor listings, Accounts Payable KPIs and communicate to key stakeholders.

Support continuous improvement initiatives and streamlining of processes in the FSSC.

Other administration tasks to support the Accounts Payable Team, as directed by the Accounts Payable team lead.
Skills and Experience:
-
Experience within a high-volume AP function, with experience in a Shared Services environment a distinct advantage.

Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
-
Excellent attention to detail with high quality work output.
-
Proficiency in MS Office primarily Excel, Word, and Power Point.

Experience using SUN accounting package would be an advantage but not essential.

Ability to learn quickly and work on your own initiative.

A highly motivated individual with experience working to deadlines as part of a larger team.

Solution orientated with strong organisational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

An interest in horse racing would be an advantage but is not essential.
