About the role RSM Ireland is seeking an ambitious Due Diligence Senior Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll play an essential part in advancing the success of our Corporate Finance team. This role offers the opportunity to assist and lead in the execution of financial due diligence assignments on both buy-side and sell-side transactions and support the team in new business generation. Our Corporate Finance team is highly regarded in the marketplace. The team specialises in financial due diligence, M&A advisory and valuations, advising clients on business acquisitions and investments. This role is specific to applicants with due diligence experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing financial analysis and reports.
- Preparation / review of agenda and leading Management Q&A discussions.
- Identifying key deal issues and commercial observations.
- Report writing and reviewing team members’ drafting.
- Liaising with clients, target businesses and other professional advisors.
- Leading Project management on engagements and client updates.
- Leading the preparation of proposals, pitches and business development initiatives.
- Team leadership, including coaching and helping to develop junior team members.
The Person
The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and qualifications:
- 4+ years in a Transaction Services / Due Diligence environment.
- Exposure to a variety of transaction types and sizes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead transactions and manage teams.
- A high level of accuracy, diligence and integrity.
- Strong technical skills with a good understanding of both local GAAP and IFRS.
- A professional accountancy qualification.
