Job Title: Experienced Pharmacy Technician
Working Hours: 2-4 days per week
Schedule Requirements: No Sundays; availability required for Bank Holidays
Key Role Requirements (Essential)
- Experience working as a Pharmacy Technician or qualified professional
- Work 2-4 days per week with flexibility (no Sunday shifts required)
- Demonstrate high accuracy in dispensing prescriptions
- Previous experience in a pharmacy/dispensary environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a busy dispensary setting
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Role Overview
The successful candidate will join a dedicated dispensary team, supporting the Pharmacist on duty to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care to the local community.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescriptions for final checking by the Pharmacist
- Assist with PCRS claims including monthly preparation, submission, verification, and follow-up on rejected claims
- Provide clear advice to customers on their medications and respond to queries as they arise
- Manage and maintain dispensary stock levels efficiently
- Support product sales through strong product knowledge and customer engagement
- Build and maintain positive relationships with local doctors and other healthcare professionals
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: €15.00-€20.00 per hour
