About the Role
Successful candidates will work as part of professional site teams responsible for delivering high-quality construction projects while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.
Roofer Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain various roofing systems.
- Work with slate, tile, metal, membrane, and flat roofing materials.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Install roof insulation, waterproofing systems, and flashing.
- Carry out roof inspections and identify repair requirements.
- Ensure all work complies with Irish building regulations and safety standards.
- Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other trades.
Carpenter Responsibilities
- Construct, install, and repair structural and finishing woodwork.
- Interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Install doors, windows, flooring, partitions, staircases, and cabinetry.
- Assemble and erect timber frameworks and roof structures.
- Measure, cut, and shape materials accurately.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and site safety.
- Work effectively within project timelines and quality requirements.
- Support general construction activities as required.
Candidate RequirementsEssential
- Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience as a Roofer or Carpenter.
- Relevant trade qualification, apprenticeship, or equivalent vocational certification.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction plans.
- Strong understanding of construction methods and site safety procedures.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual work in varying weather conditions.
- Clean employment record and professional references.
Desirable
- Experience working on large residential or commercial construction projects.
- Health & Safety certifications.
- Experience working internationally.
- Valid driving licence.
