Job Purpose
The Driver Welfare & Fleet Supervisor is responsible for supporting the day-to-day welfare, administration, and compliance requirements of the company's drivers and vehicle fleet. The role acts as a key point of contact for drivers, ensuring welfare facilities are maintained, fleet documentation is up to date, and transport compliance activities are effectively coordinated to support a safe, efficient, and professional operation.
Key Responsibilities
Driver Welfare & Engagement

Act as the primary point of contact for drivers, providing support with welfare, administrative, and operational queries.

Maintain driver welfare facilities, including rest areas, lockers, canteen facilities, and welfare resources, ensuring they are clean, stocked, and fit for purpose.

Coordinate driver communications, briefings, recognition initiatives, and wellbeing programmes to promote employee engagement and retention.
Fleet Administration & Compliance

Maintain accurate fleet and driver records, including licences, CPC certification, training records, vehicle documentation, and compliance schedules.

Support fleet compliance activities, including vehicle inspections, servicing schedules, CVRT documentation, insurance records, and driver compliance requirements.

Assist with tachograph administration, driver hours monitoring, Working Time Directive records, and transport compliance reporting.
Operational Support & Continuous Improvement

Support driver onboarding, inductions, training administration, and return-to-work processes.

Produce and maintain fleet and driver-related reports, records, and performance metrics.

Identify opportunities to improve driver experience, fleet administration processes, and operational efficiency.
Key Skills & Experience
Essential

Previous experience in an administrative, transport, logistics or fleet.

Strong organisational and record management skills with excellent attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage confidential information and work independently.
Desirable

Knowledge of Driver CPC, tachograph regulations, and transport compliance requirements.
