Minimum qualification level 6 NFQ in Engineering Discipline
A Day in The Life Of:
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Perform a variety of duties in the Electronic, Mechanical, Electromechanical and/or Optical areas
- Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, devices, or systems
- Develops Engineering solutions using DMAIC mythology in a COS environment
- Works from schematics, Engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions
- Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed I.T. format
- Performs calibration and alignment checks, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions
- Provide technical support in areas such as production, operations, maintenance, safety, testing, process improvement, IT, and product development
- Responsible for the installation, calibration, and preventative maintenance of on-line process equipment and for the preparation, maintenance, and control of appropriate documentation outlining product processing work steps
- Provide technical support to Lean Sigma initiatives/continuous improvement projects or other task/project teams as required
- Assist with Engineering and Manufacturing training
- Support and participate in corrective/preventive action procedures and support the collection and trending of product line metrics
Key Skills & Experience
- We are looking for a qualified person with minimum Level 6 degree in a relevant discipline
- Ability to demonstrate Medtronic traits in their work and good presentation skills are desirable
- A dynamic team player and can work effectively and proactively on cross-functional team
- A good communicator and fluent in English, both in writing and speak
- Experienced with computer literacy and team dynamic skills
- Knowledge of statistical tools is an advantage
