Dylan Oaks is an ambitious Irish jewellery brand focused on creating memorable experiences for every customer. As we continue to grow our professional ear-piercing service, we are looking for an experienced Piercer to join our Kildare Village team.
This is an opportunity to bring your expertise and creativity to a growing service, helping customers create personalised ear curations in a welcoming, professional and safety-led environment.
The Role
As our Piercer, you will deliver safe, precise and beautifully positioned piercings while providing expert advice on jewellery selection, placement and aftercare.
You will take ownership of the piercing experience—from the initial consultation through to aftercare—ensuring every customer feels comfortable, informed and confident.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, precise and aesthetically considered ear piercings
- Provide personalised consultations and ear-curation advice
- Recommend suitable jewellery based on placement, anatomy and healing requirements
- Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, infection control and cleanliness
- Follow all Dylan Oaks piercing procedures, safety standards and aftercare guidance
- Monitor piercing supplies and ensure the store is fully prepared for each appointment
- Create a calm and reassuring experience, particularly for nervous or younger customers
- Build customer trust and encourage repeat appointments through excellent service
- Support the wider store team by sharing your piercing knowledge and expertise
- Contribute to jewellery sales and the continued growth of the Dylan Oaks piercing service
About You
- A minimum of one year’s professional piercing experience within a studio environment
- Confident completing ear piercings independently and safely
- Strong knowledge of hygiene, infection control, jewellery suitability and aftercare
- Passionate about piercing, jewellery styling and creating personalised ear curations
- Warm, professional and confident when communicating with customers
- Calm and empathetic during sensitive or challenging interactions
- Commercially aware and comfortable recommending suitable jewellery
- Reliable, organised and committed to maintaining consistently high standards
- A positive team member who reflects the Dylan Oaks brand and values
