DoorTec is a garage door and automation company based in Cloverhill, Co. Roscommon. We operate nationwide and deal with all aspects of garage doors, industrial doors, automatic gates and automatic doors. We are looking to hire a Door Fitter and an Automatic Gate Fitter. These positions are full time and involve Fitting/Maintenance & Servicing of Industrial, Commercial and Domestic Doors and Shutters, Automatic Gates and Automatic Doors.
-Door Fitter duties including but are not limited to: Installing, Repairing and Servicing Steel Doors, Fire Doors, Fire Shutters, Roller Garage Doors, Industrial Roller Shutters and Sectional Doors.
-Automatic Gate Fitter duties including but are not limited to: Installing, Repairing and Servicing Domestic Automatic Gates, Commercial Automatic Gates and Automatic Doors.
-EXPERIENCE/REQUIRMENTS:
-Experience with hand tools and power tools.
-Some welding experience would be and advantage but not a requirement.
-Be physically fit and highly motivated with the ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team.
-Be customer focused, neat and confident with excellent communication skills.
-Good timekeeping.
-Have full clean driving licence.
-Safe Pass & Manual Handling would be an advantage.
-Mobile Elevated Work Platform ticket desirable (but not required) Door Fitter job involves some work at height.
-Be Fluent in English language.
-Be Health and Safety orientated.
-Have good communication skills.
-On Occasions over time may be required.
-Experience is desirable but not essential. DoorTec are willing to provide training to the right candidates.
