General Operative / Van Driver
Finns Insulation – Aghamore, Co. Mayo
Full-Time | Permanent
Due to continued growth, Finns Insulation is looking for a General Operative / Van Driver to join our expanding team.
Finns Insulation specialises in SEAI grant-funded and private insulation projects across Ireland, including:
- Spray Foam Insulation
- Cavity Wall Insulation
- Attic Insulation
- Dry Lining
Working alongside our installation teams, you'll travel to projects throughout Ireland, assisting with insulation installations in residential and commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Insulation installations
- Drive company vehicles to and from job sites
- Load and unload materials and equipment
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Follow Health & Safety procedures and deliver high-quality workmanship

Essential Requirements
- Full, clean Category B driving licence
- Willingness to travel throughout Ireland, as work is carried out nationwide
- Reliable, hardworking and motivated
- Physically fit with a positive attitude
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Previous construction or insulation experience
- Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Applicants aged 25+ are desirable for company vehicle insurance purposes, but this is not essential.
