Key Responsibilities
- Operations Management: Oversee daily store operations, ensuring maximum efficiency, stock availability, and strict adherence to merchandising guidelines.
- Deli & Fresh Food Leadership: Manage the deli department, including menu planning, portion control, waste management, margin maximization, and ensuring excellent food presentation.
- Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, train, mentor, and schedule a team of retail and deli assistants, fostering a positive and high-performance work culture.
- Financial Accountability: Drive sales, monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), manage labor budgets, and control shrinkage/waste to meet profit targets.
- Compliance & Food Safety: Maintain total compliance with HACCP, food safety regulations, health and safety legislation, and licensing laws.
- Customer Experience: Deliver and maintain an exceptional standard of customer service, resolving any customer queries promptly and professionally.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of management experience in a fast-paced retail convenience or supermarket environment in Ireland.
- Deli Expertise: Proven experience managing a busy fresh food/deli counter is essential.
- Qualifications: Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations (HACCP management qualification is a distinct advantage).
- Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with a commercial mindset and a sharp eye for detail.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in using modern EPOS systems, back-office retail software, and Excel.
Pay: €27,000.00-€59,628.36 per hour
