- Act on the instruction of the Director(s)
- Directly manage and direct day to day operations of the planning team
- Building and maintaining co-operative working relationships and supervision of clients and other consultants.
- Generally keeping abreast of emerging and new policy, case law and other developments in planning.
- Carrying out planning history searches.
- Attending site visits.
- Attending design team meetings, including noting of / minuting of same.
- Engaging with design team members on a regular basis.
- Attending client meetings, including noting of / minuting of same.
- Preparation of reports for planning applications, including application forms, site notices, newspaper notices, planning report, childcare demand analysis, social infrastructure audits, and similar.
- Submitting and monitoring of planning applications.
- Carrying out site feasibility studies.
- Preparing advice notes for clients.
- Preparing submissions on Development Plans, Local Area Plans and other statutory land use plans.
- Monitoring preparation of Development Plans, Local Area Plans and other statutory land use plans by others.
- Engaging with planning enforcement matters.
- Preparation of Section 5 applications.
Pay: €80,000.00-€100,000.00 per year
