CVRT Tester - Full-Time or Part-Time

We are seeking a qualified CVRT Tester to join our established vehicle-testing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining high safety standards and delivering a professional service.
Both full-time and part-time arrangements will be considered.
The Role
You will conduct statutory inspections on commercial vehicles, ensuring each test is completed accurately and in accordance with current Road Safety Authority (RSA) standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out Commercial Vehicle Roadworthiness Tests on LCVs & HCV Vehicles.
- Identifying and accurately recording vehicle defects.
- Operating and maintaining vehicle-testing equipment.
- Completing test documentation and maintaining accurate records.
- Explaining test results clearly and professionally to customers.
- Following all RSA, health and safety, and quality-control procedures.
- Keeping up to date with relevant testing standards and regulatory changes.
Candidate Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- A current CVRT Tester qualification for LCV & HCV Vehicles.
- Relevant mechanical qualifications and practical industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle systems and roadworthiness standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and a safety-focused approach.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A full, clean driving licence.
- The legal right to work in Ireland.
