We are now seeking a remarkable Director of Marketing to join our award-winning commercial team.
Reporting directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing, this is a strategic leadership role within the estate, ideally suited to an innovative, commercially minded marketing professional with a passion for luxury hospitality and brand excellence. The successful candidate will lead the development and execution of Mount Juliet Estate's marketing strategy, driving brand awareness, guest engagement and revenue growth across all business segments.

The Role
As Director of Marketing, you will lead the development and delivery of an integrated marketing strategy that reinforces Mount Juliet Estate's position as a premier luxury hospitality and lifestyle destination.
Working closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing, Revenue Team, General Manager, Marriott stakeholders, and the wider Group leadership team, you will oversee brand marketing, digital strategy, content, PR, partnerships, communications, and campaign execution. You will ensure every customer touchpoint reflects the estate's luxury positioning while driving brand awareness, demand, and commercial performance.
This is a strategic yet hands-on leadership role, requiring both vision and execution.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy, Commercial Growth & Brand Leadership
Develop and execute a commercially driven marketing strategy that strengthens Mount Juliet Estate's position as one of Ireland's leading luxury country estates, delivering measurable growth in brand awareness, direct revenue, market share and commercial performance across all business segments.
Lead the strategic positioning of The Manor House as one of Ireland's most desirable luxury country house experiences, driving premium ADR through elevated brand perception, compelling storytelling and campaigns that showcase its heritage, restoration, exceptional dining and exclusive guest experience.
Develop and execute a distinct commercial marketing strategy for Hunter's Yard, maximising occupancy throughout the year by positioning it as a contemporary five-star destination for couples, families, golfers, spa guests, corporate guests and leisure travellers, while protecting rate integrity and increasing direct bookings.
Create and deliver an integrated annual marketing plan aligned with the estate's commercial objectives, identifying opportunities to grow revenue, increase guest spend across accommodation, dining, spa, golf and estate experiences, strengthen customer loyalty and support the continued evolution of Mount Juliet Estate.
Lead the long-term evolution of the Mount Juliet Estate brand, ensuring clear positioning, consistency across all guest touchpoints and successful delivery of major capital projects, renovations and brand repositioning initiatives.
Identify emerging consumer trends, innovation opportunities and new revenue streams that enhance guest experience, strengthen market position and deliver sustainable commercial growth.
Champion the Mount Juliet Estate brand while leveraging appropriate opportunities through the Marriott Autograph Collection network.
Ensure consistency of brand identity, messaging and visual standards across all channels, campaigns and guest touchpoints.
Digital Marketing & Content
Lead the development and execution of integrated digital marketing campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels to drive awareness, engagement, and revenue growth.
Oversee digital performance across the website, SEO, email marketing, social media, and paid advertising, ensuring a seamless and high-performing customer journey.
Develop and lead CRM strategy, guest lifecycle marketing, and marketing automation programmes to enhance engagement, loyalty, and retention.
Drive booking engine optimisation and direct distribution initiatives to maximise conversion and direct revenue.
Champion marketing technology, AI innovation, and digital transformation, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, personalisation, and commercial performance.
Lead content strategy and creation, delivering compelling storytelling that brings the estate's heritage, luxury positioning, and unique guest experiences to life.
Oversee content planning, editorial calendars, photography, videography, and creative asset development, ensuring consistency across all brand touchpoints.
Monitor, analyse, and optimise campaign performance, leveraging data, insights, and ROI metrics to inform decision-making and maximise effectiveness.
Public Relations & Partnerships

Commercial Performance & Analytics
Partner closely with the Sales and Revenue teams to develop and execute marketing initiatives that drive occupancy, revenue, guest spend, and market share.
Monitor, analyse, and report on marketing performance, campaign effectiveness, and brand health metrics, ensuring clear alignment with commercial objectives.
Manage marketing budgets in partnership with the Director of Sales & Marketing, maximising return on investment and ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
Analyse market trends, competitor activity, consumer insights, and guest behaviour to inform strategy and identify growth opportunities.
Prepare and present regular performance reports, insights, and strategic recommendations to the senior leadership team.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Lead, inspire, and develop the marketing team, fostering a high-performance culture built on creativity, innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
Work closely with department leaders across the resort to ensure marketing initiatives align with operational priorities, commercial objectives, and exceptional guest experience standards.
Build and maintain strong relationships with Marriott marketing teams, strategic partners, and external agencies to maximise brand impact and business performance.
Oversee agency selection, management, and performance evaluation, ensuring partnerships deliver measurable value and align with brand objectives.
Champion a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation, encouraging new ideas and best practices across the marketing function.
The Ideal Candidate
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior marketing leadership role, ideally within luxury hospitality, travel, lifestyle, or premium consumer brands.
Demonstrated success in leading digital transformation initiatives, CRM strategy, guest lifecycle marketing, and AI-enabled marketing programmes.
Proven track record of developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that deliver measurable commercial growth and brand performance.
Experience working within Marriott International or a leading global hospitality brand is highly desirable.
Strong expertise in luxury brand positioning, digital marketing, content strategy, customer engagement, and demand generation.
Exceptional communication, storytelling, stakeholder management, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
Proven experience managing budgets, agency partnerships, and complex cross-functional projects.
Highly analytical, with the ability to interpret data, identify opportunities, and translate insights into effective strategic actions.
