Experienced Baker Required – Waterford
We are looking for an experienced baker to join our busy, well-established bakery in Waterford.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled baker who enjoys traditional baking and takes pride in producing high-quality products.
*** Key Responsibilities
- Making pastry & pastry products from scratch
- Baking scones, Madeira cakes and other traditional baked goods
- Preparing a range of sweet and savoury bakery products
- Maintaining high standards of quality, consistency and food hygiene
- Working efficiently as part of a friendly and dedicated team
***The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Previous experience in a commercial bakery is preferred.
- Experience making pastry, scones, Madeira cakes and other traditional bakery products.
- A good work ethic with excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A passion for producing quality baked goods.
*** Working Hours
Working days are Monday to Saturday, with shifts scheduled according to production requirements:
- 5:00 am – 1:30 pm
- 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
- 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Applicants should be flexible to work these shift patterns.
*** Bank Holidays
Bank Holiday working is required, with a day off in lieu provided.
*** Pay & Benefits
- Pay starts @ €14.15 - per hour, negotiable depending on relevant experience
