An opportunity has arisen to recruit a Warehouse – Forklift Operator at the Saica Pack Dublin.
This position will be on a permanent basis, working Monday – Friday.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Ensuring the safety always of all in the immediate work environment through the adherence to safe working practices while operating any mechanically operated vehicles.
· Ensuring vehicles are pre-checked prior to shift commencement and any defects have been noted & communicated as directed.
· Completion of a risk assessment of each load prior to commencement of loading /offloading & communicating any risks thereon.
· Reporting on any load deviations inclusive of damages, shortages & overages in the manner prescribed.
· Safely use machinery and follow procedures. Comply with safety guidelines of company & BRC & HSA standards with GMP.
· Completion of work activities as directed inclusive of material issuing, pallet prep, checking, loading, unloading, material returns, scanning, stock control, waste recycling & management and paperwork as efficiently as practical while ensuring you do so in a safe & careful manner.
· Completion and adherence to all training as directed.
· Other duties as required.
Training and Experience Required:
· Displaying and promoting a positive work environment through effectively supporting work colleagues in the completion of all duties as directed
· Must hold current Forklift licence for (a) Mechanised pallet truck (b) & Counterbalance Forklift truck
· VNA truck license would be an advantage
· Accident Free record for past 2 years
· PC skills good working knowledge of office apps, EFI Radius an advantage
· Excellent written & spoken English with attendance and time keeping
· Minimum 12. month experience in similar role with proven track record
Pay: €14.98-€18.00 per hour
