Murphy Castlepollard Ltd. supply a wide range of top quality building materials, hardware products, garden machinery and we also have an expanding tool hire fleet, ensuring our customers' needs are always met in an effective, efficient and professional manner. We are currently recruiting a 2 & 4 Stroke Mechanic to join our expanding team. You will be responsible for the daily maintenance of small engine machinery at our Retail & Hire Workshop. The desired candidate will have 3-5 years' experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
- Discuss equipment issues, maintenance plans, and work performed with customers
- Perform routine engine maintenance, such as lubricating parts and replacing spark plugs
- Test and inspect engines for malfunctioning parts
- Adjust components according to specifications
- Repair or replace worn, defective, or broken parts
- Reassemble and reinstall components and engines following repairs
- Keep records of inspections, test results, work performed, and parts used
- Handle Counter Sales
Requirements:
A strong and proven track record within Garden Machinery Engines.
Be results driven, self-motivated, optimistic and resilient.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and to use their own initiative.
Fluency in English and excellent communication skills are essential.
Knowledge of Garden Machinery and Spares a must.
IT Literacy a Must.
