We are seeking applications for the role of Basic Grade Social Worker. The role will suit experienced candidates who wish to progress in their careers in a progressive organisation and are deemed suitably qualified, skilled within a similar healthcare setting.
This will include the following on a day-to-day basis:

disclosure of and or personal data as defined under the General Data
Protects Regulations (GDPR).
- To take an active part in research projects relevant to secure care mental
health nursing practice.
- To take all possible precautions to safeguard the welfare and safety of
staff, patients, visitors and the public by implementing all policies and
procedures relating to security- procedural, relational, and physical.
- To provide individual, social work assessments as identified, ensuring that
the patient’s strengths are identified as part of the overall treatment and
care planning process.
- To ensure that any issues, where appropriate are addressed while the
patient is receiving care and treatment in the facility.
- Together with another member of the multidisciplinary team liaise closely
with Community teams and other agencies and ensure appropriate
discharge and after-care arrangements while at the same time ensuring
public protection.
- To act as an advocate for the patient, ensuring that the patient’s views are
heard and that advocacy services are available to all patients.
