Overview
Clerkin Connect is recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading Irish engineering company specialising in high voltage systems, electrical infrastructure, modular substations, and mission critical energy projects across Ireland and Europe.
As the business scales, this role delivers IT and digital projects that improve core platforms and workflows. You'll work across functions to plan and execute digital transformation projects, system implementations, coordinate vendors, integrate systems. The role is focused on driving productivity via digital tools, process improvements and enabling users in a fast-paced project environment.
The successful candidate will lead major initiatives including:
- Procore configuration, rollout support, and optimisation
- Sage Intacct integration assistance and digital financial workflows
- BIM aligned information management (ISO 19650) support with BIM/Quality teams
- Practical AI use within defined governance and risk controls
- Process standardisation and documentation across projects and operations
- Change enablement, communications, and user training
- Data management, reporting, and lightweight integrations
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery
- Plan and manage work packages, timelines, and dependencies for assigned IT/digital projects.
- Coordinate requirements, translate them into configurations, and manage test/acceptance cycles.
- Maintain project artefacts: charters, plans, RAID logs, status reports, and release notes.
- Track outcomes and benefits; capture feedback for continuous improvement.
Enterprise Systems & Integration
- Configure and support Procore (templates, forms, workflows, permissions, QA/QC).
- Assist with integrations between Procore, Sage Intacct, BIM/CDE platforms, document control, and reporting tools with support from vendors/IT.
- Map and maintain digital workflows across procurement, scheduling, QA/QC, reporting, commissioning, and handover.
- Build and maintain digital KPI Dashboards in collaboration with functional owners; ensure clear data definitions and ownership.
BIM, ISO & Compliance Support
- Support ISO 19650‑aligned information management in partnership with BIM/Quality leads.
- Help maintain CDE protocols, document control procedures, revision management, and digital approvals.
- Ensure digital records support QA, compliance tracking, audits, and traceability.
AI Enablement & Risk Awareness
- Contribute to practical AI usage guidelines and targeted automation pilots (e.g., search, classification, reporting).
- Document risks, controls, and user guidance in line with cybersecurity and data protection practices.
Change Enablement & Training
- Produce concise communications, quick reference guides, and eLearning content.
- Deliver onboarding sessions, floor walking support, and feedback loops to drive adoption.
- Log enhancement requests and manage a personal delivery backlog.
Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination
- Collaborate with functional leads to clarify scope, acceptance criteria, and schedules.
- Coordinate day to day with software vendors and implementation partners for fixes and enhancements.
- Provide clear, regular status updates and recommendations to project sponsors and leadership team.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Project Management, Business Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3-5+ years' experience delivering IT/digital projects or enterprise/business systems initiatives.
- Hands on experience with platforms such as Procore, Sage Intacct, ERP, BIM/CDE solutions, or similar.
- Familiarity with ISO 19650 information management is advantageous.
- Understanding of CDEs, digital document control, and project information workflows.
- Experience in engineering, construction, utilities, manufacturing, infrastructure, or mission critical environments is desirable.
- Exposure to change enablement, training content creation, and user support.
- Awareness of AI governance, cybersecurity, and digital compliance frameworks is a plus.
