Job Description:
Bridge Mills Galway Language Centre is seeking experienced and motivated English teachers to join our team. As an English Teacher at our language centre, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality English language classes to our diverse student body, ranging from beginner to advanced levels.
Responsibilities:
- Delivery of programmes and teaching aligned to the learner-centred, communicative and humanistic orientation of teaching and learning at the Bridge Mills Galway Language Centre.
- Assessing learners, grading and moderating assessments, where applicable.
- Where appropriate, providing additional academic support to learners.
- Attending scheduled meetings; liaising with administration and line managers as necessary.
- Adhering to quality assurance procedures.
- Behaving professionally and courteously in all dealings with learners, colleagues, management and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- CELTA/TESOL/CELT certification is required.
- Previous experience in teaching English as a second language is desirable but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans.
- A passion for teaching and helping students reach their language goals.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland.
