The CMMS Support Engineer plays a key role in supporting the development and implementation of the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for a major plant expansion project. This position is responsible for ensuring the accurate coordination, organisation, and preparation of equipment and instrumentation data, enabling a structured and efficient system build.
The role involves close collaboration with vendors, engineers, and project stakeholders to ensure data is delivered, validated, and aligned with CMMS requirements.

Coordinate, organise, and maintain asset and component data required for CMMS (Maximo)

Review vendor-submitted data to ensure completeness, accuracy, and adherence to required formats

Track outstanding data submissions and proactively follow up to ensure timely delivery

Maintain clear and structured records of data status, gaps, and issues

Act as a primary point of contact for vendors submitting equipment and asset data

Provide clear guidance on data requirements, formatting standards, and scope

Collaborate with engineers and project stakeholders to resolve data-related queries and issues

Assist in categorising equipment into predefined asset classes

Support the development and structuring of asset hierarchies in line with CMMS standards

Identify and escalate inconsistencies or unclear classifications for review

Maintain trackers for:

Missing or incomplete information

Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and key issues to project stakeholders

Level 7/8 in an Science/Engineering discipline
- Experience communicating and working with multiple teams across disiplines

Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail

Skilled in data management tools such as Excel, Smartsheet, or similar platforms

Ability to manage multiple data inputs and proactively follow up on deliverables

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Experience working with asset data, maintenance systems, or within engineering environments

Familiarity with CMMS platforms (e.g., IBM Maximo)

Understanding of equipment and components within industrial or pharmaceutical settings
