We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer & Setter to join our precision engineering team. This role involves full responsibility for programming, setting, and optimising CNC milling operations across 3‑axis and 5‑axis machines.
Our facility operates under AS9100 and ISO-certified quality systems, and we provide ongoing training to support your professional development in advanced machining and CAM programming.
Key Responsibilities
- Fusion 360 Programming — Create, edit, and optimise toolpaths for complex components
- Machine Setup — Independently set up 3‑axis and 5‑axis CNC milling machines
- Process Optimisation — Improve cycle times, tooling strategies, and machining efficiency
- Quality Compliance — Work within AS9100/ISO standards to ensure consistent accuracy and quality
- Problem Solving — Diagnose machining issues and implement effective solutions
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in CNC milling setup & programming
- Strong proficiency in CAD CAM (preferably Fusion 360 or similar CAM software)
- Experience with 3‑axis and 5‑axis machining
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
