The Financial Controller will lead the financial control environment for TTM Healthcare, ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, statutory compliance, audit management, tax compliance and governance. The role will provide strong technical accounting leadership and ensure the finance function operates with effective controls, accurate reporting and clear accountability.
- Own and maintain the financial control framework, ensuring controls are documented, robust and consistently applied.
- Oversee Group month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting and appropriate review procedures.
- Maintain accounting policies and ensure financial reporting is aligned with relevant accounting standards and internal requirements.
- Identify control weaknesses and lead corrective actions to strengthen financial governance.
- Lead preparation of annual statutory accounts and supporting audit schedules.
- Manage the external audit process and act as a key point of contact for auditors.
- Oversee VAT, payroll tax, WHT tax, corporation tax and other relevant compliance activities in conjunction with advisors where required.
- Ensure statutory and regulatory deadlines are met.
- Review monthly reporting packs and ensure financial results are accurate, complete and clearly explained.
- Provide technical accounting guidance to the finance team and wider business.
- Lead, manage and develop finance staff, ensuring clear standards, timelines and quality expectations.
- Support the CFO with senior leadership and Board reporting, and play a key role in budgeting and forecasting.
- Monitor financial risks and ensure appropriate mitigation plans are in place.
- Drive improvements in reconciliations, reporting processes, policy compliance and audit readiness.
- Support finance systems improvements and automation opportunities.
- Professional accountancy qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent professional accountancy qualification.
- Strong technical accounting and financial control experience.
- Experience leading or supporting external audit processes.
- Excellent understanding of reconciliations, statutory reporting and internal controls.
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in a multi-entity or group reporting environment.
- Healthcare, recruitment or regulated services experience.
- Experience with finance transformation, systems improvements or control remediation.
