We are seeking a reliable and experienced Artic Driver to join our team. The role involves delivering goods to customers safely and on time while providing a high standard of service and supporting warehouse operations when required.
Duties:
- Cover all driving requirements and drive articulated truck and all other company vehicles as required
- Deliver product to customer as needed in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure product is being delivered to the correct receiving point based on product type.
- Exhibit outstanding customer service. Advise of any feedback coming from customer e.g. low stock levels, requirements for collection, general comments/issues etc.
- Load trucks the day before if possible. Secure all finished goods correctly according to procedure before shipping
- Be flexible throughout the day based upon deliveries. Customer may request rush jobs and delivery schedules may change accordingly.
- Takes full responsibility to ensure Driving License, CPC card and relevant CPC modules are completed on time and card/license is valid at all times.
- Ensure item description and quantity matches delivery docket.
- Assist in the warehouse with loading/unloading, stock taking, and general duties as needed
Requirements:
- Full, valid CE Driving Licence
- Valid CPC Card with up-to-date modules
- Previous driving experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Flexible, dependable, and safety-conscious
