Independently owned Bed & Breakfast and Apartment Complex (14 bedrooms & 10 Apartments) seeks a motivated and responsible individual to assist with the running and operations of this established business, located in the centre of Athlone, Co. Westmeath.
Job Description
Owner is seeking an experienced Supervisor to assist in all aspects of the day to day operation. Must be a motivated individual who is personable and able to multitask. The ideal candidate will assist with housekeeping duties to maintain our high standard of cleanliness and hygiene, breakfast service, supervision of staff, guest check in/check out, liaison with guests, dealing with guest queries. The position is well suited to someone who enjoys the personable interaction with their guests and is hospitality oriented. An individual who enjoys taking charge and leading others will find this an exciting challenge and career opportunity.
Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Set up & breakdown breakfast
- Check in / Check out guests.
- Assign rooms to Housekeeping
- Inspect rooms and verify check Lists.
- Report Maintenance issues to management
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €15.15 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Athlone, County Westmeath: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- Leaving Certificate (required)
Experience:
- Hotel experience: 2 years (required)
