Due to a number of exciting new projects, we are seeking an experienced Services Coordinator to manage mechanical, electrical, and specialist systems contracts on numerous prestigious developments in Leinster.
About the Role
As a Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for the quality and timely delivery of all mechanical and electrical (M&E) requirements across multiple projects simultaneously. You will lead the management of M&E subcontractors from start to finish, ensuring the smooth delivery, commissioning, and final handover of all building services installations. The position involves collaborating effectively with project teams, commercial departments, and clients to ensure all technical services are seamlessly integrated into the wider build.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the Mechanical & Electrical elements of live projects from inception through installation to final commissioning and project handover.
Liaise with subcontractors and third-party specialist contractors to develop detailed Installation and Commissioning Programmes, ensuring they are incorporated into the master construction programme.
Chair regular meetings with Design Team members and subcontractors to ensure construction, installation, and commissioning works are developing as planned.
Carry out regular Quality Control checks on M&E installations to ensure works are installed strictly as per the design intent and specification.
Manage the Procurement Process to ensure all plant and materials are specification-compliant and delivered within the required programme timeframes.
Oversee the Commissioning Process and coordinate any required temporary M&E services, ensuring all works are managed in accordance with relevant quality procedures.
Manage the flow of information from the M&E design team, provide technical input as required for live projects and tenders, and advise the project team of any impact on progress.
Provide crucial input for Handover Documentation, ensuring all project certification is issued within the constraints of the project.
What We’re Looking For
A Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience within the construction industry managing M&E contracts in excess of €5m.
A strong track record managing large M&E projects across the Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare, and Residential sectors.
In-depth knowledge of varied M&E construction techniques, implementation, and Commissioning Processes from pre-construction to handover.
Strong Health and Safety awareness coupled with excellent client-facing and communication skills.
