Lawlor’s of Naas is currently recruiting for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our busy and professional kitchen team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated chef who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is looking to develop their career within a well-established hotel. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead and support junior team members are essential for success in this role.
The Role
- Manage your designated section within the kitchen.
- Prepare and cook dishes to the standards set by the Executive Head Chef.
- Support, train, and supervise junior chefs, ensuring they understand their responsibilities and continue to develop their skills.
- Maintain effective stock control and stock rotation within your section.
- Ensure cleaning schedules are completed and tasks are delegated appropriately.
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of all menu items.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety regulations, and the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005.
- Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
The Person
- Previous experience in a 4 or 5-star hotel or a similar high-quality hospitality environment.
- Strong working knowledge of HACCP.
- Excellent understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, kitchen equipment, and processes.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A positive attitude and commitment to maintaining high standards.
