We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of desserts and baked goods while ensuring consistency, quality, and food safety standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a range of desserts.
- Follow recipes and production schedules accurately.
- Measure, mix, and prepare ingredients according to company standards.
- Finish desserts to a high presentation standard.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and baking equipment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Report ingredient shortages and equipment issues to management.
- Support the development of new dessert recipes and seasonal products.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a baker, pastry chef, or similar role.
- Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and food safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and consistency.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays when required.
- Passion for baking and creating high-quality desserts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Culinary or baking certification.
- Experience in a dessert shop, bakery, café, or restaurant.
- HACCP level 1 and 2
