With the rapid advancement of frontier AI capabilities—particularly those enabling the identification and exploitation of vulnerabilities—there is an increasing need to proactively defend against AI-driven threats. The AI Threat Defense Analyst plays a critical role in anticipating, detecting, and disrupting these threats at scale, ensuring the organization maintains pace with the speed and sophistication of modern adversaries. This role serves as a strategic bridge across Threat Intelligence, Detection Engineering, Threat Hunting, Purple team and Attack Surface Management to ensure the organization stays ahead of adversarial innovation.
Key responsibilities:

Continuously research new and emerging CVEs, misconfigurations, or attack patterns that relate to AI-specific components. Partners with ASM and works closely with TIGER team.

Rank vulnerabilities identified based on severity, exploitability, and business impact. Assist in deciding which AI vulnerabilities, attack patterns, and exposure windows warrant enterprise focus.

Partner with Purple team for validation of emerging attack techniques/vulnerabilities through testing, proof-of-concept development, where possible.

Work with threat hunting to proactive hunt against our own environment, based on Early identification of exploitation signs and exposure windows shortens our mean time to respond and reduces potential blast radius.

Partner closely with Detection Engineering to translate emerging AI threats, vulnerabilities, and exploit patterns into high-fidelity detections and telemetry requirements.
Qualifications

Proven cybersecurity experience with demonstrated leadership in threat management, incident response, or security operations.

Strong understanding of modern adversary TTPs, including AI‑enabled threats, automation abuse, and emerging attack techniques.

Hands-on experience securing LLMs, GenAI platforms, or ML pipelines.

Familiarity with MITRE ATLAS, OWASP Top 10 for LLMs, or similar frameworks.
