About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QEHS Lead to join our growing team within the electrical industry. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong understanding of Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety systems and a passion for driving compliance, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and improving QEHS standards across projects, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, client requirements, and company policies.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS) in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
- Plan and conduct internal audits, inspections, and risk assessments across projects and operations.
- Lead incident investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure all staff receive IMS, quality, environmental, and health & safety training.
- Monitor legal compliance requirements, maintain the Legal & Compliance Register, and advise management on regulatory updates.
- Support tender and project teams in achieving QEHS and client compliance requirements.
- Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement across the organisation.
- Prepare QEHS reports, documentation, and performance metrics for management review.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and project teams regarding QEHS matters.
Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills / Experience
- Relevant qualification in QEHS, Health & Safety, Environmental Management, or related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a QEHS role within the electrical, engineering, or construction industry.
- Internal Auditor certification for ISO standards preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Irish health & safety legislation and environmental compliance requirements.
- Experience managing Integrated Management Systems and ISO certification processes.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently while supporting multiple project teams.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Commitment to maintaining high quality standards and ensuring compliance with the company’s Integrated Management System, including all relevant health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Experience managing external and internal ISO audits and certification processes.

Pay: €60,000.00-€80,000.00 per year
